Week 14: Outside of Class

Here is my progress over Thanksgiving break:

• I added borders to separate content
• Adjusted colors from previous blog posts to fit my color scheme
• Recolored the submit, online form, and social media links/buttons to fit my color scheme
• Added an image and put the quote over top of it so that there wasn't "floating" text
• Had to redo the Drink Special image so that the text was the same throughout the web page

More Coding accomplished. I got my menu finished in class, and will try to put text within the blue box for a specialty drink that is changeable.

Week 13: Outside

I had to remake the HTML coding in order to fix my positioning of banners. It still looks the same as the old version though. Along the way I also fixed some of the CSS coding. I still need to create a menu for my web page and apply my style tile theme.

Week 13A

For the entire class period we were working on our web pages. I got a lot of it done, and only need to make minor adjustments. Something I am having trouble with is adjusting my banners to space out. Here's what I've done in class.

Week 12: Outside of Class

I continued working on my web page layout, and I had to use w3schools a lot to help with some advanced coding. I will have to go back and change the box colors though.

HTML Coding Event (11/14/19)

I got a lot of feedback from my coding mentor Morgan and some other mentors at the event. Some of the suggestions include:

• use icons for the rules section
• "tease" the viewers by increasing the header's height. By doing this they won't be overwhelmed with tons of information from the start.
• add more space between columns.
• if the rules are just text, then use a list rather than going across
• change the submit button's color to fit the style tile them

After Event

So after getting so much feedback, I started adding text and color to the web page. Here is what I've completed so far.

Week 12A

Here is what I've gotten done so far in class. We are supposed to create boxes where we want our content, images, etc.

Week 11B

I wasn't able to start the Style Tiles assignment today for I needed to revise my web page layout. I was told to enlarge the content, and add some more detail to it. Here's what I've done so far.
